Founder of Global BPO Index · 12+ years in marketing, operations & client servicing
I spent four years working inside the outsourcing industry before I ever wrote about it. I served global insurance clients from Mumbai at Willis Towers Watson’s outsourced services unit. A decade of B2B growth work later, I build independent directories that give buyers the data-driven comparison I wish my clients had back then.
At a glance
From the delivery floor to the buyer’s side
My career started inside the industry this site covers. At Syntel, an IT services provider, I built the MIS reporting that delivery teams ran on. Then for four years at Willis Towers Watson’s outsourced insurance services unit in Mumbai, I serviced global property-insurance clients: resolving 50–80 accounting queries a day at 98% accuracy, designing a two-part billing SOP that became standard for large accounts, and training 30 associates on it.
That experience taught me what actually separates a great outsourcing partner from a mediocre one: process discipline, communication cadence, and domain depth, not the sales deck.
I then moved to the growth side of B2B software. As the founding marketer at Hopstack I built the function from one person to eight and a $10.8M+ qualified-lead pipeline; at Caimera I worked on the frontier of AI search and programmatic SEO. Twelve years in, I’ve sat on both sides of the outsourcing relationship: delivering the service and buying it.
Why I built Global BPO Index
Choosing a BPO partner is a high-stakes decision made with surprisingly thin information. Most “directories” are pay-to-play rankings; most reviews are unverifiable. Buyers deserve better than choosing a partner for a million-dollar process off a brochure.
Global BPO Index is my answer: an independent index that aggregates providers from public data, enriches every profile with the facts that matter (services, industries, delivery locations, certifications, engagement models), and lets buyers compare and request quotes for free.
It’s the second directory I’ve built on this model, after CustomsBrokerIndex, and it follows one rule: the data serves the buyer first. Providers never pay for placement, only for qualified leads, which keeps the rankings honest.
